Lately I am expermenting more in alternate worlds of photography. I have been all digital for years and never had the opportunity to try anything else. Recently I shot my very first roll of Medium Format Film and a while ago I was given an amazing opportunity to take a step back into time and shoot Large Format Film.
Honestly, I had zero idea what to expect. I had no idea what the camera even looked like. Heck, the film is loaded in 100% darkness! To say I was nervous would be a gross understatement. Thankfully I was given excellent guidance and the whole experience was so positive.
Thank you Sightlines Photography for hosting the event, Jon Adaskin for showing me step by step how to create these images, Model Argus Pargus and Hair/Makeup Amber Hobbs. Images developed and scanned at Lab Works in Winnipeg. The film I used was Ilford Delta 100.
The best part about film is you are forced to slow down and focus on one shot. I only did two frames the whole morning and here they are.
