This one is hard for me.
Meet 15 year old Hunter. I know him from my son's school. Their daughter is in my sons class and we all share a love for golden's.
Not too long ago a tumor was discovered in Hunter's mouth. It has been growing rapidly and we know it will soon prevent him from eating or having a good quality of life. We know it won't be long until this family has to make one of the hardest decisions they will ever have to make. After 15 amazing years together, they will have to help him pass over to the rainbow bridge.
He really is a good dog! Hunter may be small for a golden, but he is mighty. He will demand attention, talk your ear off and guard a ball like it is life. Seriously, he will make you pet him!
This family also has three young girls who have grown up with Hunter. He has always been there for them.
Thank you so much to Kristi and her family for allowing Hunter to be part of #projectgooddog. The school yard is not going to be the same without this smiling white face.
If you or someone you know would like to be a part of this project, please feel free to contact me. All I ask in return is the opportunity to share the dogs story and for a donation of your choice to be made to Manitoba Great Pyrenees Rescue or a rescue of your choice.
