I have had this Kodak Brownie Holiday Flash camera sitting on a display shelf for a couple of years now. I bought it at an antique store in Carberry because it looked neat and came with the box (lame right?). I never really considered that it might actually work. Now that I am playing more with medium format and 35mm film, I figured, what the hey, lets see what this thing does.
Finding the film was a bit more of a challenge. Seems Kodak stopped making 127 in the early 80's. I found two rolls on Ebay that expired in 1976 (almost my birth year....yikes!!!) and I was all set.
These images were all taken on a fun road trip with my good friend Mandy. My little one snuck in there for one as well. There have not been altered in any way. No filters, no editing. I am thrilled with the results when you take old film and marry it with abandoned houses. Magic! Still have one more roll....
