Meet 5 month old Makayla.  She arrived into the world back in January at 26 weeks gestation and weighing only 1.6 pounds.  She literally fit in the palm of her dad's hand.  Just imaging that!

She spent 4.5 months in the NICU and she is now about 8 pounds, healthy and home with her loving parents. 

This is the "youngest" yet "oldest" newborn I have photographed to date.  We opted to keep it simple and stress free on both mom and baby by doing the parent shots and a mini newborn session.  She was content as can be wrapped and slept through the whole posing portion. 

She is a little miracle!
